Rock that Band!
Hairbands are totally my thing. From the pretty bow bands that bring back memories from childhood to floral headbands that ooze a boho vibe, hairbands are my trusted hair accessory to add zing to any look. Throw back to those innumerable bad hair days, there is a lot that I owe these pretty trinkets for helping me survive them.
On today’s post, I am featuring this tiara and headband hybrid which I picked up recently from Aldo and wearing it in 3 different ways. It’s an embellished hair crown with grosgrain ribbon and can be used to accessorize almost any hairdo.
The Classic
Simply pull your hair back with the headband. A thin tiara band like this one makes this simple style pop and is ideal for bad hair days. It is subtle enough for a casual day look while adding some character.
The Retro
Part your hair in the middle and wear the headband across your forehead for a hippie look. Great for themed parties, you can also wear this look for summer brunches and beach dos.
The Side Bun
Side part your hair and create a low bun and place the headband on top. This look works great for weddings, reception and special dinners.
The SS 2016 fashion shows have confirmed that Hair accessories are here to stay through the year-be it elastic, fabric , metal or floral.
